Ministry Path for Android — Privacy Policy

Updated September 14, 2026

Ministry Path is an independent personal organization app.

Information you enter

Names or initials, contact details, interests, visit notes, presentations, and shepherding plans you enter are kept in private storage on your Android device. The developer does not operate a server for the Android app, collect these records, use advertising, or collect analytics. This version does not connect to iCloud or automatically synchronize with iPhone.

Voice input and links

Voice practice and dictation open the speech-recognition service installed on your device. Spoken audio may be processed by that service according to its provider’s own privacy terms. Recognition results appear in the app; a visit transcript is kept in a record only after you tap Save. Maps, telephone, and JW.ORG links open other apps, which have their own privacy practices.

Backups, sharing, retention, and deletion

Backup and person-transfer files are created only when you request them and are stored or shared wherever you choose. They contain plain-text personal information and are not encrypted by Ministry Path. Anyone with a copy can read it. You can edit and delete records in the app. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes its local records; exported copies must be deleted separately. Automatic Android cloud backup and device transfer are disabled for this app.
